XanGo Thrive 2009 Convention
Sunday, November 1st, 2009
Over 10,000 people attended the XanGo “Thrive 2009″ convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was an unbelievable experience for me as this was my first company convention that I had ever attended. I have attended marketing conventions before but they are very different than a company convention.
On Wed. and Thursday, Distributors had the opportunity to tour the corporate headquarters which made all of us realize just how lucky we are to be distributors for this company. The offices are very “distributor” oriented. They were beautiful and the best part is, they are paid for. The convention officially launched on Thursday night with a pajama party and the sounds of the B-52s. The music was a bit loud but everyone had a great time.
Friday began with such excitement and energy from distributors who were in attendance from all over the world. The distributors from Mexico definately made it known that they were there. What a wonderful group of individuals with several distributors that were college students. XanGo is currently in 34 countries with plans to expand to Brazil and South Korea in the near future.
Chris Garner was a speaker the first day. He is the man that the story “Pursuit of Happiness” with Will Smith was written about and to listen to his testimonial was something I would not have wanted to miss.
All 6 founders of XanGo took the stage at one time or another in the 2 days. We received some of the best training imaginable from our very own leaders. I was in awe as the XanGo Millionaires were brought to stage. It was hard to believe that 70 people have become millionaires in the first 6 years of XanGo. This is the 7th year and there are a few that will become part of that club very soon. One speaker, Doug Wead was especially inspiring. Love that man.
Our newest line of products, Juni, was unveiled. They are toxic-free shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. All of XanGo skin Products are toxic-free to include the glimpse skin care line.
Besides the training, we had a run for Charity on Saturday morning. You may, or may not, know but the 6 founders of XanGo made a commitment before they even sold their first bottle of juice to donate 7% of all their profits to charity. It is a commitment and a promise they have never faltered on. They have provided much help over the last 7 years to provide medical care to many and to build schools, hospitals and help feed the hungry. This part of the company is called “XanGo Goodness” The company has a meal pack that can be part of any distributor’s monthly auto-ship. The meal packs are sent overseas and each pack feeds 35 children. What an awesome feeling to be able to help feed hungry children and build a home business at the same time.
Saturday night we attended the RSL (Real Salt Lake) Soccer game. It was my first professional soccer game and it was a good time. The RSL team is sponsored by XanGo and it was quite a thrill to see the company name on all the shirts of the players as well as on the billboards. Go XanGo!
The other highlight of this convention was attending the Musical Fireside at the LDS Conference Center Theater. The talent that was in that room was amazing. The evening closed with David Archuleta (in case you don’t know, he was on American Idol) singing “How Great Thou Art”. It was beautiful. It is so refreshing to see that a year of being famous has not ruined him. He was nervous and cute and very humble. He has my vote.
XanGo is a 7 year old, debt free, toxic-free, company whose products are all from the mangosteen Fruit. It is stable with a proven track record. I came back from convention excited and 100% sure that I have the right company. To learn more about how you can become a part of Xango Go Here!
Let me end by introducing you to one of the founding members of XanGo and the Chairman of the Board, Aaron Garrity. He is just one of 6 reasons that sets XanGo apart from other companies.
