Mangosteen Juice!
Our refrigerators hold a plethora of foods and drinks. Sodas, deli meat, eggs, yogurts, ice cream, fruits and so on can be found in any “ice box”. It may not look like something the food network would use but it still works for most of us, right? Many of us look to that beautiful appliance in the kitchen as a gateway to something that can satisfy our hunger and our thirst. We run there during a commercial to grab that last piece of mom’s apple pie. We grab a soda in the middle of an afternoon. We probably even sneak in an ice cream sandwich from the refrigerator’s twin, the freezer, every now and then, too. But how many times have we grabbed something out of the “frig” and actually stopped to think about its health benefits. We have all done that. We grab that last piece of mom’s apple pie and think about its effect. “Wow, probably shouldn’t have this because of the calories and the sugar, but it’s only one piece.” How about when we grab that soda? Admit it, all those news reports about the effect of sodas on not only us adults but how it contributes to the growing health issues with kids – those reports go through our head every now and then, too when we grab that soda. We won’t even talk about the ice cream sandwich.
In the midst of the articles and news reports on foods and drinks that have their drawbacks, we do hear about others that actually can be beneficial for us. Ever hear of the mangosteen fruit? How about the juice that is made from the mangosteen – mangosteen juice? (Easy to name that one!) For centuries, those in Southeast Asia, the native area for the mangosteen fruit, have reaped the health and medicinal benefits of this wonderfully sweet fruit. Mangosteen juice, obviously made from the fruit, has made this piece of food paradise accessible to all of us around the world.
More on Mangosteen Juice Here!
There are a number of things we can put in our bodies on a regular basis. However, for a variety of reasons, it becomes tough for us to include the “good ones” in our regular diet routines. Mangosteen juice can be one of those that we include in our diet. For one, since it comes from a delicious tasting fruit, the mangosteen juice is also delicious to drink. However, mangosteen juice contains antioxidants that play a very important role in overall health. In addition, mangosteen juice contains xanthones that have been shown to help with allergies, infections and gastro-intestinal issues.
So, the next time you head over to that magic box; why not have it stocked with mangosteen juice, so you can grab some during the next commercial break?
